Job Title: Senior DevOps EngineerLocation: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid)Job description-Top Skills:1. Previous experience as devops on the: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins2. Scripting/ coding skills with at least one of the following programing languages: Java,C,Javascript, PHP, Perl, Python, Go3. Understanding of a distributed systems and microservices architecture
Responsibilities:- Develop, test and maintain build and deployment scripts in CI/CD framework/tools to automate and streamline deployment processes.- Drive the DevOps team toward automation and deployment best practices.- Partner with the software architect and development teams in designing DevOps processes that help achieve team goals.- Research, suggest and implement new technologies, strategies and ways to solve technical issues.- Produce and maintain documentation on devOps ecosystem

Requirements:- Experienced with linux based systems- Familiar with GIT, CI/CD, Gitops, Infrastructure as code- Have scripting/coding skills with at least one programming language (Java,C,Javascript, PHP, Perl, Python, Go ...)- Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins,- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture- Firm grasp of internet, cloud and network security concepts
We are looking for someone that takes initiatives and can own tasks from end to end.
Team size: 3 onsite devops + 3 offshore devops offering guidance and support for a team of 40+ developers.Working with Docker & Kubernetes technologies. Our main focus right now is to migrate a microservices platform into Kubernetes.We work in a Scrumban way
