Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its busy and growing Internal Medicine department.
Practice Details
The Grand Itasca Internal Medicine clinic team is made up of five Internal Medicine Physicians and two Advance Practice Providers. Grand Itasca offers a very competitive first year income guarantee, with a generous signing bonus and moving allowance as well as a benefit package that includes health insurance, life insurance, professional liability coverage, generous allowances for Continuing Education and vacation. This practice has tremendous potential as the area has a large senior and retirement population and is growing.
The practice is General Internal Medicine, with a full-time clinic practice as well as opportunities to round on hospitalized patients within a structured rotation.
Minimal clinical call in the Internal Medicine Department.
Provide medical consultations for our large group of Family Medicine department.
Subspecialty medical and surgical consultants visit Grand Itasca on a regular basis, providing the full spectrum of care and convenience for our physicians and their patients.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program.
Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital has 10,000 to 12,000 patient visits per month. The primary service area of the clinic includes roughly 50,000 people. In the local and surrounding community, Grand Itasca is the dominant provider of primary health care services. A long tradition of providing excellent service in Primary Care has positioned the Clinic for its expansion into secondary care specialties.
Grand Rapids is three hours from Minneapolis and 90 minutes from Duluth.
