SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified

Systems Administrator II/III .

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary : SEACORP has an immediate opening for a SystemsAdministrator to support our software development team in Newport, RI. Theselected candidate must have an understanding of interfacing subsystems,hardware, software, and some virtualization. A strong grasp of Shell/BashScript, as well as Red Hat OS and networking is required. Candidates must beable to work through system builds and be effective at software and hardware troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities:

System building, upgrades, and maintenance.Setup and configuration of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.Maintain network infrastructure.End user support.Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.Assembling / disassembling equipment to meet system installation needs.Travel for on-site installations/upgrades/repairs.Essential Capabilities:

Ability to listen to requirements, perform analysis and document software and/or system requirements either in the form of a detailed requirements specification and/or prototype.Ability to design and develop solutions within a team environment or working independently.Ability to multitask effectively.Ability to document solutions for internal and external release.Desired Capabilities:

Linux experience, especially RHEL.Virtualization using VMware software from Workstation to ESXi.Intermediate knowledge of Cisco and Arista switches.Creation of RPM packages.IT Automation using Ansible.Creating Kickstart installation media.DISA STIGs experience with computers and network hardware.Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, orInformation Technology or other computer technology based degree. Advanced military technical training (e.g. Navy "C" School) will alsobe accepted with evidence of desired capabilities.

Experience :

Systems Administrator I:Degree Only;

Systems Administrator II: 3years' experience;

SystemsAdministrator III: 7 years' experience

Military service or applicable experience can besubstituted based on 2 years' service/experience for each degree year.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship
