Marathon TS is seeking a Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE) subject matter expertise to support deployment and maintenance of the new, Precise Time and Astrometry Network.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Engage and provide customer support to USNO departments (Astrometry Department [AD], Earth Orientation [EO], Astronomical Applications [AA], and USNO-Flagstaff [NOFS])
2. Engage with Information Assurance staff to ensure compliance with DoD requirements.
3. 10 years' experience managing VHE systems
4. VMware Certified Professional certification (6.0 or higher)
5. Experience in Cyber Security as it relates to DoD policy for virtual infrastructure
6. Requires preparation and maintenance of documentation
7. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to hold a Privileged Access account prior to onboarding, by at minimum maintaining Security Plus or any DoD accepted equivalent certification for such access
8. Two days telework authorized AFTER proper Snap-In period (usually 30- 45 days)
FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, AND TRAVEL: The support for these tasks will be performed onsite at 3450 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington DC.The government will provide the required computer equipment. Meetings related to the project shall take place at Washington, DC onsite. Travel may be required to Charleston, SC for network training
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):
1. 10 years' experience managing VHE systems
2.
VMware Certified Professional certification (6.0 or higher)
3. Experience in Cyber Security as it relates to DoD policy
4. Security Plus or any DoD accepted equivalent certification for privileged access
5. US Citizen: TS/SCI
6. Technical Degree at B.S. required; M.S. desired.
