Loan Documentation Specialist II

We are seeking an experienced and detailed oriented Loan Documentation Specialist to join our Loan Administration at Bridgewater Bank in St. Louis Park. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions associated with the origination of new commercial and consumer loans and renewals/modifications of existing loans. This position requires responsiveness to our borrowers and lending staff to ensure the timeliness of loan closings. Accuracy is required to reduce risk to the bank and remain in compliance with laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, review and process documentation for all commercial and consumer loans to ensure terms of documents are in accordance with committee approved request and following bank policy, lending practices and regulatory statutes. May include communication with outside counsel related to document preparation and other due diligence.Preparation of Participation Agreement and Letter of credit documentation, renewals, and modifications.Complete CRA and HMDA requirements for documentation and compliance reporting.Administer the loan booking process on core and document imaging software, includes new loans and modifications for (CRE Multi-family, C&I, Construction development, and other commercial renewals) and consumer loans.Perform initial loan funding using WireXchange and/or internal funding on the core loan system while ensuring accuracy of funds disbursed utilizing an internal checklist.Perform balancing of GL’s related to loan booking.Communicate effectively and collaboratively with internal partners to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.QUALIFICATIONS:

4-6 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experienceStrong oral and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentationBachelor’s degree preferred
