DescriptionThe IT Asset Management Clerk will organize, tag and distribute incoming merchandise to business units across the company. It is responsible for ensuring inventory records are accurate and equipment arrives timely to the proper client group area.
Essential functions:
Shipping and receiving hardware from vendorsPreparing assets to be shippedAsset tagging hardwareMaintaining inventory via HP asset center%Reconciling inventoryScanning assets with inventory toolsMaking deliveries to inter city branch officesOrganizing contractors daily workPrinting/affixing asset tagsGeneral warehouse dutiesOther duties as assigned
Job Duties:
Knowledge of general inventory and warehouse practicesAble to lift 70 lbsAble to work in non-air-conditioned spaces from time to timeCustomer service focusDemonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsMust demonstrate initiative and effective decision-makingMust be able to work independently without direct supervisionWarehouse machine experience, (i.e. forklift, pallet jack)
Required Experience:0-2 years of Professional experience in Asset management or inventory control experience
Required Education:High school diploma or GED
