We have internships available within our Engineering department Position Overview: As an Engineer Intern at Alliance, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced engineering team on the design, revision, and drafting/detailing of metal building systems. This role will provide valuable exposure to real-world engineering projects, enhance your technical skills, and offer insight into the metal building industry. The internship is designed to support your educational growth while contributing to meaningful projects that have a lasting impact. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to assist in the design and analysis of metal building systems. Create detailed CAD drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction projects. Assist in design revisions and optimization of structural components. Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations to enhance your communication and teamwork skills. Contribute to project documentation and maintain accurate records of design changes. Learn and apply industry best practices for structural design and construction. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Structural Design. Strong academic performance and coursework related to structural analysis and design. Solid understanding of engineering principles and a keen interest in structural design. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Prior internship or coursework related to structural design is a plus.
