The Role:
Big Minds, Tiny Hands
is looking for a skilled, licensed Occupational Therapist to provide quality care and direct services to children from birth to age 3 in person or remotely via (Telehealth). You will be working with children who have special needs. Duties will include conducting physical and psychological assessment of clients, developing treatment plans, assessing home environments of the children.
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
Evaluate children, with known or suspected delays as pertinent to the case assignedParticipate in planning meeting with the service coordinator, parents, and other members of the EI teamProvide treatment in accordance with the child's IFSPProvide all required documentation within required time frames, including daily notes, three and six-month progress notes and annual reviewsProvide instruction to families, team members, and other support staff consistent with accepted practice standardsInstruct families in the use of total communication, augmentative communication, oral-motor therapy, feeding therapy, use of other assistive devices, or other techniques specific to the child's needsSubmit all required attendance documentation to the agency within required time framesMaintain effective monthly contact with other team membersInclude the family in planning for the needs and treatment of the childNotifies agency of all pertinent information that occurs outside of normal documentation procedurePerform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or designeeSpeech Language Pathologist Qualifications:
Master's degree or doctorate in Speech & Language Pathology from institution accredited by the ASHANYS LicensureCertificate of Clinical Competence from the ASHABi-lingual a plusAbout Us:
