**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of mental health conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
**Key Responsibilities:**Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs and develop accurate diagnoses.Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.Collaborate with therapists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services as needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation.Complies with federal, state, and local regulations as well as standards set by CMS and JC; follows professional standards of ethical conduct in the provision of medical and psychiatric care; follows the policies of Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare.**Qualifications:**
Must possess a medical degree with licensure to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.Must maintain board certification or eligibility of certification in psychiatry.Strong clinical and leadership capability.Eligibility for APA membership.Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and problem-solving skills required.**Benefits:**
