RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Network Technician is responsible for providing telephone and e-mail support to end-users on a variety of technical issues. The Technician will support both the staff and client organizations of the company.
DUTIES:
Provides telephone and e-mail technical support to office and field personnel, and client contacts
Monitors and performs backup and restore operations
Monitors and resolves issues with various data exchange operations between customers and vendors
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
Tracks and monitors issues to ensure timely resolution
Assists with PC maintenance, upgrades, and software installations
Adds new users and changes existing users in Active Directory
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Provisions physical and virtual Windows Servers
SKILL SET:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and explain complex technical information
Proficiency in standard and advanced software applications
Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
Excellent customer service skills
1-3 years of Microsoft Active Directory experience
1-3 years of SQL Server experience a plus
1-3 years of Hyper-V or other virtualization experience a plus
Certifications a plus
Experience with ETL tools, XML and JSON files a plus
Associates Degree or equivalent job experience
