Location: District Wide Seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist or Speech Langauge Pathologist Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year. The applicant must hold a valid license from the State Board of Healing Art and also be certified through DESE. The candidate may work with a range of students from Early Childhood through grade 12. Students may have a variety of needs and services. Experience in working with children with special needs is preferred but not required. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.
The position may include but it not limited to the following:
Provide support to the instructional process with students focusing on achievement by developing appropriate communication skills. Supervise students within the classroom and other assigned areas Develop lesson/therapy plans Deliver group and individual instruction/therapy within established guidelines Collaborate with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues Respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding communication, assessment information and student progress. Administer and score speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education services Complete paperwork and attend meetings that are related to the special education process
