A health services network in Texas is currently seeking a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Fort Bend County. In this role, the Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services for members of family, regardless of age or sex, or type of problem, on a continuing basis.
Responsibilities:
The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will:Examine patient to ascertain presence of disease and to establish preventive health practicesElicit and record information about patients' medical historyOrder or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's conditionAnalyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition of patientAdminister or prescribes treatments and medicationsPromote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseasesDetermine need for modified diet and physical activities, and recommends planInoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize patients from communicable diseasesPerform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competencyRefer patient to other medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patients' well-beingOversee, review, supervise, and act in preceptor role to family practice residentsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of TexasBoard Eligible / Certified in a Family and/or Internal MedicineDesired Skills:
