Value Drug Company is a full-service Pharmaceutical Wholesale Distribution company serving independent pharmacies across Pennsylvania, its contiguous states, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida.

Located in Duncansville, PA, Value Drug Company supplies independent pharmacies a selection of products, including brand, specialty, generic, over the counter and home healthcare. Value Drug also provides pharmacy operational solutions and resources the pharmacies need to best manage, operate, and grow their pharmacy business.

Position Summary/Objective

The Business Analyst works with data end-to-end to provide insight and support decision-making on strategic projects and interdisciplinary functions

Essential Functions

Work closely with the Executive team to develop analytical models for complex business scenariosInterpret results, communicate findings, and make recommendations based on outcomes in clear and concise formatsCollect, classify, analyze, and model data from disparate data sources to discover trends for business insightCollaborate with cross-functional teams to measure business performance and uncover process improvement opportunitiesParticipate in ongoing design and development of strategic goals and vision of data governance, self-serve analytics and reporting, data sources, security and data warehouse.Recommend and implement improvements in the current BI environments by maintaining knowledge of market trendsAdvocate for innovation and process improvementMaintain and implement changes to Financial DashboardsPropose, develop and implement new business metricsProduce and provide insight on routine reporting for the Executive team and Board of Directors

The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, cell phone and telephone. Required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not currently supervise any employees.

Travel

Requires 5% work-related travel.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Business or equivalent relevant experience. Strong fluency in data analysis skills and tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, SQL and R. Must be adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
