is seeking a BC/BE
Family Medicine Physician
to join the established clinical team at
Penn State Health Medical Group – Cocoa Family Medicine
located in Hershey, PA. The candidate would have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of three physicians and four nurse practitioners who provide exceptional care to the patients in our community.
The practice includes a diverse patient population with a wide range of ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. The practice is outpatient focused, no OB or inpatient work required, and presently there are no evening patient hours. Procedural opportunities exist. One Saturday morning in clinic required every 7-8 weeks. On-call coverage required every 8-12 weeks, with infrequent after-hours at-home phone calls (first-line nurse triage service in place).
The practice itself sits in the heart of the Hershey community in southcentral PA, with a ‘small town America’ feel to it. Hershey lies within minutes to a number of outdoor activities and cultural opportunities, including the ‘sweetest place on earth’, Hershey park. New York, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC are all located within 2-3 hour drive from Hershey for those interested in the culture and activities of larger cities.
What we’re seeking:
MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
Completion of accredited training program
Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
BC/BE in
Family Medicine
Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
