Job Description:The Music Business/Management Department within the Professional Education Division at Berklee College of Music is now accepting applications for a part-time faculty position to advance instruction within the department.Responsibilities:Teach a variety of business courses in Design Thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship
Hold office hours and advise students in their academic progress
Participate in department meetings, and other department-sponsored events as needed
Maintain and cultivate professional relationships/network with the music industry
Work with the department in its ongoing review, revision, and development of the Music Business/Management program and curriculum
Advance the student experience and the work of the Department, the Division, and the College
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Bachelors degree required; advanced degree in an Arts, legal, or business field preferred
Teaching experience required; college or university preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, and other innovation methodologies
Demonstrated record of professional experience in business, entrepreneurship and innovation
Strong command of technology to support and advance the work
Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access
Student-centric perspective with a strong commitment to creativity and implementation
