We are seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Lead Engineer
to join our client's growing DevOps team. You'll play a key role in owning and driving the delivery of quality software products. This role can be 100% remote.

Position Overview
As a
QA Lead Engineer , you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans from detailed product specifications for functional and regression testing on all internal and external applications. You will work closely with the Product Owner and the DevOps team to ensure quality product delivery in an eCommerce environment as well as lead a team of QA Engineers. We're looking for proven ability to record, document and compare expected results to drive high quality standards. If you have manual and automated test experience, we strongly encourage you to apply.

3 years of experience as a QA Engineer/Lead in web-based environmentsWrite clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from specification documentsStrong understanding of test-driven development processesStrong understand client requirements and how they translate in application featuresExceptional ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyExcellent research, problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to occasionally work nights and weekends, based on business needsTechnologies:
Strong development and execution of automated software testingExceptional experience with testing tools like: Selenium, Cypress, RTH, ITP, Katalon, HP, UFT, etc.Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systemsSolid understanding of Agile Scrum processesGood understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection policiesSoftware testing in an eCommerce environmentAdept with writing SQL queriesEstablish benchmarks for application efficiency and response timesStrong familiarity with software design and programming principlesAbility to set up and maintain a browser lab for testingExperience with Bash and Shell ScriptingExperience with Gherkin SyntaxTesting Planning & Execution:
Take ownership of quality in all production environmentsDevelop and execute manual test plansMaintain and troubleshoot enterprise systemsIdentify and document issues with software in production and testing environmentsReview technical requirements, identify gaps, and provide feedbackDiligently stay up-to-date with current QA best practicesDocument systems and processes, track and document ongoing changes and defectsEstimate, prioritize, and plan testing strategiesRoadmap development of automated testing practicesLead effort to bring test driven development to DevOps teamTeamwork & Communication:
Lead a team of QA EngineersAid the DevOps team in conceptualizing upgrades that will enhance user experienceProvide on-call system support and assist key personnelDrive quality acceptance as you participate in weekly production deploymentsPossess excellent interpersonal skillsWork in cooperation with the Product Owner and DevOps team to ensure delivery of quality software productsShows confidence and assertiveness when necessaryPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsPerks and Benefits:
