As the county hospitalsystem, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100years. Women's and Infants Team:Comprisedof 10 board certified OB/GYN physicians, 6 subspecialists, 21 Advanced PracticeProviders (WHNP and CNM) covering all subspecialties as well as 16 OBGYNresidents, our collaborative team provides services and support for women inour community at every stage of life. Some of the services provided includepreventative health care, low and high risk prenatal/childbirth/postnatal care,menopause care, urogynecology, and gynecologic oncology evaluation andtreatment. JPS is designated as a LevelI Trauma Center, Level III NICU and Level IV MLOC. Our physicians provide 24 hour in houseinpatient hospital coverage and we deliver an average of 4,000 babies a year.
Required Education and Experience:Current Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.Residency and/or Fellowship training within specialty.BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine5 years of independent practice experience highly preferredRequired Licensures/CertificationMust have current Texas Medical LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationUnrestricted DEA
