Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare multi-state, C corporation tax returns, pass-through entity and individual tax returns, and exempt organization tax filings.

Participate in tax consulting engagements addressing various areas such as converting S corporations and LLCs to C corporations, cash to accrual adjustments and R&D tax credits.

Provide responsive, high-quality tax services to clients and provide leadership to and development of tax staff.

Contribute to firm marketing and business development activities.

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and complete assignments within required time constraints and deadlines.

Assist in providing tax and financial advice to clients.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting

Minimum 5 of experience in public accounting focusing on preparation of corporate and individual tax returns

Integrity, dependability and trustworthiness

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Ability to lead and develop tax staff

Dedication to development and enhancement of team environment

Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Superior client service focus

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Proficiency with personal computers including spreadsheet software programs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ProSystem fx, CCH suite, and/or Engagement a plus

CPA or CPA candidate

Working Conditions

Able to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles
