DescriptionProvides application development services typically as a of a project team or in an application support role. Developers analyze, design, code, test and implement systematic solutions to meet customer requirements that adhere to Highmark IT standards and policies. Developers provide general support to maintain applications that meet the service levels, system availability, performance and quality levels required by their customers.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or 6+ years of additional experience in lieu of higher education (required)Must have at least 3-5+ years of experience as a COBOL programmer (required)Must be able to program in COBOL with 4-6 years of experience (required)Must have experience with code documentation and processing (required)Agile/Scrum Methodology experience (required)Code documentation and processing, 4 - 6 Years experience (required)Team playerSelf-starterAnalytical Ability (4 - 6 Years required)Analyze Software Problems (4 - 6 Years required)Oral and Written Communication Skills (2 - 4 Years required)Planning and Organizing Skills (2 - 4 Years required)Report Writing experience (2 - 4 Years required)Troubleshooting experience ( 1 - 2 Years required)Experience with DB2 and IMS preferredNOT
