CCSN Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic
Occupational Therapist
to join our growing team. The Center is located in Farmington and Glastonbury, CT and utilizes a center-based model to provide occupational therapy services for children and adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for administering standardized assessments, designing treatment programs, and supervising COTAs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This candidate will work collaboratively with other Center providers, families, and clients to ensure positive outcomes and to promote the health and well-being of the client.
Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and maintain active certification and licensure as an occupational therapy assistant in CT. A minimum of one-year previous pediatric experience is preferred. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing occupational therapy evaluationsProviding occupational therapy servicesAssisting in the development of treatment targetsMaintaining accurate records of treatment and billingEducating clients and their caregivers on home programsDemonstrating effective communication skillsCollaborating with other service providersParticipating in supervision with the COTA
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Interested candidates must be available to work on Saturdays during the Clinic's hours of 8:00 - 3:00
