A recognized services organization in New Jersey is looking to add a new Artificial Intelligence Project Manager to their team. In this role, the Artificial Intelligence Project Manager will be responsible for counseling the executive leadership on AI-driven technology strategies and policies to create a sustainable competitive advantage in the Transportation industry.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The Artificial Intelligence Project Manager will:Create AI Governance model along with AI Policies for clientLead the end-to-end development lifecycle for AI projects, from conceptualization to deploymentDocument and share insights, architectural decisions, and best practices from each AI project for cross-organizational learning.Create an ecosystem that integrates innovative AI technologies like generative models and large language modelsWork with internal and external partners to pinpoint impactful AI use-cases and deliver transformative solutionsStay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and machine learning to inform and drive strategic decisionsAlign AI-driven projects and initiatives with business objectives through ongoing collaboration with stakeholdersEvaluate, fine-tune, and scale AI models and systems to ensure consistent performance and reliabilityUphold best practices and standards for AI ethics, security, and data privacy within the organizationMentor a talented team of AI specialists, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and growthFacilitate effective communication of complex AI concepts to a diverse audience, from technical experts to business leadersQualifications:
10+ years of experience in Data Science or job-related fieldDoctoral Degree or equivalent Advanced degree in a qualitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, etc.Familiarity with transportation data standards and experience working with large databases, to clean, standardize and integrate data from multiple sourcesProficiency in integrating data from traditional relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL/Teradata etc.) as well as other data architecturesExperience creating visualizations, reports and dashboards using BI toolsExperience with advanced analytics using Python, and proficiency in librarieExperience in application of advanced machine learning techniques to tasksExperience with cloud deployment of ML/AI applicationsPractical experience in leveraging large language models for real-world solutionsComprehensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and the Software Development LifecycleSolid problem solving and time management skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
Experience in a transportation systemPrior transportation industry knowledge
