Senior Kubernetes and Object Storage Curriculum Engineer

The MinIO team is looking for an expert in cloud object storage to join us as a Senior Kubernetes and Object Storage Curriculum Engineer. In this role, you'll design, build and maintain hands-on labs and curriculum for MinIO’s object storage offerings across Kubernetes, public and private clouds, and bare metal architectures. I losIYou will be an innovator, building a world class technical training program from the ground up, collaborating closely with engineering, docs, and support. You will be encouraged to help shape the strategy we execute.Previous experience as a cloud architect, administrator, storage engineer, consultant, or instructor is required. You will need strong oral and written communication skills to make our training relevant and easy to consume.What you will do:Build real world, use case driven hands-on labs that establish best practices for using MinIOSupport the labs with clear, concise training content and develop real-world and use case-based examples, guided exercises, and practical lab materialsPackage the labs and content into short, outcome oriented training modulesRecord engaging videos of modules to be published on YouTube and LinkedInBuild, deploy, and maintain automation scripts and pipelines using Ansible and Terraform (or equivalent) toolsLearn new platforms and technologies quickly in order to become a subject matter expertRequirements3+ years of experience with software defined storage3+ years using Amazon AWS, including an understanding of S3 and the S3 API3+ years working in a Kubernetes environment3+ years using automation technology such as Ansible and Terraform5+ years of Linux skills (RHCE or equivalent knowledge)1+ years building and maintaining workflows in gitExcellent understanding of DevOps principles and best practicesStrong oral and written communication skillsPrevious experience delivering webinars and/or recorded technical content a plusBenefitsMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k)Paid maternity leavePaid paternity leave
