**Project Buyer*** 655 Eisenhower Dr, Owatonna, MN 55060, USA* Full-time* Legal Entity: Bosch Automotive Service Solutions Inc.**Company Description****Job Description**As a Project Buyer, will have an instrumental role in launching new projects for an assigned product area or customer. The primary responsibility is to assure project purchasing tasks stay on track to the customer demand and meet or exceed cost expectations in the project budget.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Steer sourcing for product launches or change request projects for the Automotive Service Solutions business unit.* Key purchasing liaison in the project teams, working daily with strategic or technical buyers, cost estimating, product management, project management and engineering.* Work closely with the strategic buyers and purchasing quality to select the best cost-effective and qualified suppliers to meet the deadlines of the project for the business.* Efficiently navigate with the different purchasing tools to effectively send RFQs to the approved suppliers, and then compile the comparison of quotes to make an informed sourcing decision that result in the request for approvals.* Ensure process steps and data inputs are accurately transferred between tools and, ultimately, into the SAP system for smooth execution into the schedule agreements.* Placing purchase orders for the development or production samples and the associated tooling to the awarded supplier and following up to ensure the project deadlines are met.* Along with support for the new products, participate as purchasing change coordinator in Engineering Change Request (ECR) projects and timely communicate changes and dispositions to the supplier through the purchasing software.* Obtain and promote knowledge of corporate and regional purchasing central directives to help cross-functional teams align on responsibilities and tasks during the projects.**Qualifications*** Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering or similar Business focus; or equivalent experience required* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in purchasing or project management; international experience is highly desired* Productivity software: MS Outlook, Advanced MS Excel is required; PowerBI a plus* Organizational skills and prioritization skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at one time, including following up on actions to closure is required* SAP (Vendor, Material, Info Record, Source List, Scheduling Agreement, PO) a plus* Demonstrated analytical capabilities and ability to grasp multi-dimensional data and analyze it for an outcome to support a strategy a plus**Additional Information**By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.**Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
