Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 2/5/2024Available Shifts: 8 DPay Rate: $1270.00 - $1463.00
The Vascular Sonographer is a skilled person qualified by technological education to provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a doctor of medicine responsible for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures. Assist the physician by gathering vascular sonographic data necessary to reach diagnostic decisions. Performs related duties as assigned.Required education: High school diploma or equivalent and one of the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) prerequisites for education and required clinical experience.Required licensure: Requires a registry or registry eligible status with the ARDMS. Required certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association BLS Heartsaver CardOther: Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: This individual must be capable of walking long distances, transporting ultrasound equipment and assist in lifting patients.Equipment Used: Ultrasound equipment.
Required QualificationsRequired Licensure: RDMS, Vascular Registry - RVT or RVS requiredRequired Certifications: BLS from AHA onlyPreferred Certifications: ACLS from AHA onlyRequired Experience: 1 year Noninvasive VascularMUST BE FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS
