KEY NOTE -Technical PM who has managed large initiatives on java OR .Net will be idealGOOD TO HAVE -Some experience in leading through an SRE transformation - leading "ops" focused teams to develop engineering capabilities that improve ability to deliver at scale.Key Qualifications:

Leading or Managing Technical Analysts, Database team, Development or Operational teams or playing the roles of Sr. Systems/Technical Analysts in those teams.9+ years Project management experience leading teams of engineers and experience with large scale cloud based application system.Skills in documenting word and deliverables in a collaborative and clear manner, keeping them up to date as changes are made on Confluence sites.Strong expertise in managing production incidents, with experience driving for resolution and stakeholder communication during incidents.The candidate should be adapt at prioritizing multiple issues in a high stress environment. Capability and experience in designing processes to improve response capabilities.Experience in driving partnership with between SRE, Dev teams and QE teams towards delivering excellent customer outcomes - managing above the level of infrastructure to deliver great customer outcomes.GOOD TO HAVE -Some experience in leading through an SRE transformation - leading "ops" focused teams to develop engineering capabilities that improve ability to deliver at scale.Should be able to understand sophisticated architectures and be comfortable working with multiple teams.Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively participate in incident resolution for the platform and/or any dependent components which the product engineering teams rely on for their work. The rest of the time will be automating and developing quality and operational improvements/solutionsMaintain and improve operational tooling, frameworks, perform chaos engineering activitiesBuild/integrate/administer systems and tools that enable engineering teams to observe their applications in production with autonomy (Dashboards, APMs)Automate alerts for metrics on performance, cost, vulnerabilities, risk, compliance violationsIdentify and measure SLOs, SLAs and SLIsImprove processes/runbooks and champion automation of any manual items around support50% SRE mindset and 50% Project/Support team Management.Service level metric understanding and responsible for consistently meeting service-level agreements (SLAs) for our servicesKnow how SRE principles work and have a basic understandingEngage in and improve the whole life cycle of applications or services-from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinementDrive a culture of reliability, and ensuring teams are aligned around common priorities and approaches defined by leadershipAssist Sr. Manager / Director in capacity planning and cost optimizationThe candidate will leverage some of the latest AIOPS technology to develop a holistic approach to enhance systems and application reliability with a focus on superior customer experience.
