SUBSTITUTE

POSITION:

Program Technician II

TYPE:

These positions work Monday-Friday.

COMPENSATION:

$24.46 Hourly

TYPE OF RECRUITMENT:

This is a Job Announcement to establish a list of substitutes and a list of District employees interested in a Working Out of Class assignment.No effort will be made to maintain a rank order of the applicants (P.C. Rule 60.100.5).

TESTING PROCEDURE:

The examination process will consist of a written examination only. Testing may occur on a weekly basis.Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.

DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision of an assigned administrator, performs a variety of broad technical record-keeping and clerical duties in support of an assigned program or function at a school site. Establishes and maintains records; compiles and distributes materials and reports, and responds to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources. Provides support to assigned administrators in maintaining efficient operations and organizing program activities or functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Coursework or training beyond high school is highly desirable.

Experience: Two (2) years of secretarial experience involving public contact, organizing and coordinating specialized clerical functions, record-keeping, and use of automated office equipment.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a valid California driver's license.
