Job Description: The Outpatient Coordinator Assistant is responsible for supporting day to day execution of activities related to clinical trial visits for study screening, admission, and follow-up. This role is customer service oriented, greeting and orienting participants to the activities related to their study visits. The Outpatient Coordinator Assistant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and archiving participant records (including medical, research, financial) with accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees participant coordination at screening, admission, and follow up visits; greets and orients participants to screening process.Schedules and tracks participant appointments, answers participant phone calls, and manages participant travel and logistics.Prepares study charts in advance of appointments.Prepares and records trial participant payments.Reviews, maintains, and archives participant and clinical trial study records confidentially and in accordance with CMCDs and GCPsAssists in recruitment and advertising initiatives (e.g. preparing mailing campaigns, participating in outreach events, social media and PCRU website)Assists with phone screening and participant database maintenance.Demonstrates professional communication and behaviors which facilitate positive attitudes and trust by the participant population toward clinical research and company brand.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Associates degree with 2 years relevant experienceResearch or health care practice experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service and professionalismProficiency in using MS Office tools suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degreeSpanish language fluencyUnderstanding of the drug development processUnderstanding of local regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, GCP)
