This analytics role reports will sit in the Enterprise Data Analytics & Insights organization and will be the product owner for personalization. The candidate should have a strategic mindset to advance the need for personalization across our digital properties. Additionally, this individual will be instrumental in guiding the requirements of Ameriprise's Direct to Consumer capabilities and ensuring successful adoption of new features and functionality. They will support the varying needs of business marketing stakeholders, while ensuring cohesion with technology, marketing, Ameriprise Bank, and other key partners.

The ideal candidate will feel at ease integrating data from multiple/disparate sources, querying databases, conducting sophisticated quantitative analyses and presenting their findings as clear, actionable insights and recommendations that enable revenue growth, channel adoption and customer acquisition and retention. They must have strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand the business goals/needs, and be committed to delivering data driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations. It will also be necessary to ensure up-front data and reporting requirements are communicated to development and technology teams to ultimately enable delivery of analytics and insights.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the configuration, administration, and operation of Adobe Target to support client initiatives.A proven track record of testing and personalization strategy, and the ability to define strategies based on business objectives.• Partner with business CMOs to identify and design personalization opportunities. Deliver recommendations to marketing leadership team on how to deliver personalization across sites, to enhance customer and business outcomes.• Serve as resident Adobe Target capability expert• Work with VP MarTech to craft Personalization roadmap and strategy focused on driving adoption of personalization and A/B testing on our digital properties.• Build team and function to support Adobe Target - working across the marketing organization to leverage existing operational talent• Assess and optimize the current state of Adobe platform configuration including Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics for segmentation, and Adobe Launch for experience integration.• Prepare project plans that list tasks, milestones, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and owners.• Own the Adobe Target request queue; what is in motion, planned for development, and backlogged; delegate ownership of specific queue requests across marketing & technology teams.• Monitor the effectiveness of various optimization programs and continuously improve prescribed testing plan.• Configure personalization elements in Adobe Target• Work with UX/UI teams to finalize content for personalization, A/B testing, or multivariate testing.• Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Your Required Skills:This role is expected to have a strong understanding of cross channel marketing, personalization, and analytics. Strong c-level communication is required. They will be a polished leader, capable of managing a team to maximize the performance and individual growth of each direct report. They will be passionate about defining a culture which balances a process-driven approach with efficiency and accountability.• 5+ years of experience working with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) in digitally enabled businesses. MBA or graduate degree a plus. Experience in financial services preferred• Demonstrated experience leading personalization and optimization team.• Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset.• Experience leading projects or initiatives and communicating to executive teams• Experience with tag management systems and data layers• Understanding of database management and APIs• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS• Direct-to-consumer and Business marketing experience (B2B, DTC, B2C).
