Description

The Hogan Family YMCA is looking for Membership Service Representatives to provide excellent customer care to YMCA Members and Guests.

Membership Service Representative deliver excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. They respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby area.

PRINCIPAL DUTIESCommunicate and promote the YMCA mission, goals and objectives to employees, volunteers and the community at large.Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, contributing to member retention.Conduct interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members; sells memberships.Build relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA.Handle and resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of usual situations or unresolved issues.Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Membership Director.Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS

Certifications required within 60 days of hire: CPR/AED, and First Aid.Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.Previous customer service, sales or related experience.Basic knowledge of computers.PERSONAL QUALITIES
