DescriptionTo design, develop and implement software applications and systems based on users needs. Understand and analyse the technical specifications and suggest code optimization ideas. Fill timesheets and complete invoicing process on or before the deadline. Interact with customers on need basis and flag any requirements or issues raised by the customer to seniors in the team. Develop software code as per specifications, by understanding customer requirements. Track open tickets/ incidents in queue and allocate tickets to resources. Constantly review if there is a better way of doing things, which may help with economizing time or money or deliver better to the customer. Adhere to quality process update the defect logs, test scripts, and comply with quality processes and timelines. Perform self code reviews as per standards. Develop project consolidated status reports and perform all activities related to re usage, accuracy and efficiency. Work alongside others, delivering own goals, and supporting team members in meeting theirs, thereby contributing to the overall satisfaction of the team. Provide application production support as per process/RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed) Matrix.NOTE : TO perform wide range OF evaluation, maintenance, installation AND training tasks AND provide support AND information ON network configuration. Support IN capturing requirements OF clients. Support network design /planning, Network Vision drawings AND documentation. Support the network optimization process AND documentation. Support IN capture, analysis AND presentation OF network statistics AND comparing WITH industry standards. Configuring LAN/WAN network element, provisioning OF Network Circuits, Network elements, CPEs (Customer Premise Equipments) AND activation OF network service. Also, WORK ON MACD (Move, ADD, Change AND DELETE) cases. Proactively monitor alarms BY logging IN TO network elements such AS switches, routers AND / OR BY monitoring through network element managers. Participate IN periodic network audit activities. Verify AND CHECK network elements AS per inventory. Ensure quality IS maintained AND process adherence AS per guidelines. Ensure ON TIME resolution TO the issues reported, IF any. Provide status UPDATE OF projects, configurations, tickets AND change requests being handled.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serve as lead project manager during the installation of new communication and data systems. Interface with Client departments, customers, and contractor/vendor team members. Provide operational support for engineering communications systems and serve as a lead engineer for new communication and data systems installations. Verify all work on related systems fully match the corporate standards and system requirements. Provide system design and configuration requirements that are within the Engineering Standards for all communication systems and engineering supported IP networks. Ensures network designs and configuration files, databases, software, etc. are current and properly maintained. Review and maintain operational service level agreements, maintenance support issues, warranties, and support contracts for engineering communication and data systems. Must be capable of developing solutions to individual network design problems, providing direction to network design staff, and reviewing staff and consultant developed network designs. Develops and reviews test plans and procedures for all necessary testing, provides support for network system installation and modifications to ensure that systems are properly tested before being placed into service and any field changes are documented in as in service documentation.
