Patient Registration Clerk

Schedule and register all patients for planned hospital services. Obtain pre-certification and verification of benefits on all scheduled patient services.- High School Diploma or GED required- One year healthcare registration preferred- Experience in certification/verification of insurance preferred- Strong communication skills, verbal, written and visual- Demonstrated clerical skills including telephone, filing, customer services, office equipment and data input- Strong organizational skills including independent problem resolution and establish priorities- Basic Medical Terminology preferred or competent within three months of employment- Ability to obtain certification within Access Management within one year preferred
