:Develop curriculum that can help build communication skillsAssess communication (speech and language) skills through screenings and evaluationIdentify students at risk for later communication problemsComplete daily documentation of services and outcomesManage caseloads services and schedulingPerform small group and individual therapy based on client needsCollaborate and consult with professionals providers families and teachers.Competencies:Knowledge of language speech and hearing disordersExcellent and effective oral communication and writing skillsAbility to meet federal and state regulations for licensure and certificationStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to be flexible and creativeRecognize the need to respond to culturally diverse communitiesUnderstand utilize and remain abreast of best practices and therapy modalities within the fieldExperience in evaluation scoring and interpreting assessments and screening measuresQualifications:Master’s Degree from an accredited universityState licensure and ASHA certificationExperience in the field of speech therapyPediatric experience preferredCETC
