The Group Product Manager is responsible for leading their Product Management team towards meeting and exceeding corporate goals and objectives. To fully represent the company's ethics and values in all internal policies and customer decisions.

You will make an impact in this role by:

Setting and meeting product line sales growth and profitability goals.Managing resources to support growth and expansion.Forecasting and meeting group budget and group/product P&L.Identifying and developing strategic target accounts.Supporting regional sales manager initiatives.Managing distributor relations and training initiatives.Managing resources to support growth and maintain customer focused sales culture.Developing, expanding, and launching new products.Effectively targeting markets to penetrate and implement through the sales organization.Developing and managing price lists, literature, and sales tools for product line.Developing and streamlining internal processes to support growth and improve communication.Project Managing from concept to production and support.Key skills and attributes include:

Ability to understand the machines on the mechanical and electrical levels, as well as the ability to quickly learn so that the product can be applied.Ability to write detailed specifications for a new product.Ability to generate and write test and laboratory reports for customers and suppliers.Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that confirm to prescribed style and format.Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.Ability to apply advanced mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Ability to use accounting software, Database software, Design software, Internet, Project Management software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical fellow employees and customers at all levels of business about the responsible project.Excellent sales skills and experience.Demonstrated leadership ability.Fluid power knowledge.Entrepreneurial attitude/outlook to grow and maintain business with true sense of ownership.Directly supervises 2 to 4 employees.Travel expected around 10%, could go up to 40% of the time if needed.Visionary Leadership

To be considered for the Group Product Manager role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Engineering.Experience in fluid power, certification is a plus.Preferred skills include:

Experience in Product ManagementSAP experienceCRM experienceKnowledge or experience with hydraulic cylinders
