DescriptionSteak 'n Shake is hiring immediately for Service Team Members - Front of House to join their team!
The Service Team or Front of House has the primary responsibility to administer the 7 steps of Service to every single guest within their assigned job while maintaining guest sensitivity, cleanliness, restocking, sanitation, uniform, safety, security, and company policy requirements. Service team is accountable for leading and delivering Steak N Shake standards in the eyes of the guests. The position has the role but not limited to cashier, serving, drive thru operations and hostess. The Service Team must obtain excellent interpersonal skills, able to retain menu item information.
Service Team Member - Front of House Roles and Responsibilities:Part time and/ or Full Time PositionReports to Operational Supervisor/ and or Service TrainerRetain menu item information and changesResponsible for excellent guest experienceMaintains policies and proceduresPassionate about guest serviceMaintains optimal restaurant cleanlinessAbility to learn and be proficient in all positions of the front houseMeets basic math and reading requirementsAbility to lift 20-30Ibs occasionallyEffectively interact with guests and associatesUphold professional relationships with associates and guests while under stressMaintain personal hygiene and cleanlinessJob Summary:
1. Daily work assignments assigned but not limited to cashier, drive thru service, serving, hostess
2. Actively ensure service, hospitality, accuracy, and speed
3. Demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving
4. Possess communication skills
5. Effectively follow all tasks always assigned by Supervisor to best of ability
When working as a server at any location that offers full-service dining, service rate plus tips will apply.
