Other duties may be assigned.Trains and relieves machine operators as neededFills in for the Lead during their absence, including performing color changes, quality checks, and become familiar with mold changeoversReads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheetLifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operatorsDumps by hand materials such as colors or plastic, into machine hoppers or move product by hand onto scrap palletsOperates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsReads spread sheets to determine specific material requirements at changeoversPerforms necessary maintenance and repair on some equipment usedResponsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipmentPrepares and maintains records of product movementPulls raw materials and finish product from various locations for manufacturing ordersPHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
