Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Configurations Manager to join our team. Responsibilities include being responsible for working in a dynamic team environment, working on state-of-the-art solutions to complex, timely, newsworthy operations. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems using whatever tools and practices are best suited for the challenge presented. The team will have group-oriented as well as more individual tasks. On a typical day, the selected candidates will be responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems. The candidate will work on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems. They will use or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures and develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. In addition, the preferred candidate will implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. Finally, the candidate will perform change control and configuration audits.

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraphEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD 9 years' related work experience, Master 12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.). If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity is required.Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures(U) Assist in the use of configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration itemsUnderstand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and proceduresImplement hardware and software version control processes, policies and proceduresUnderstand basic concepts, assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integrationExperienced in creating Configuration Management Plans.Assist in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures; such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process(U) Utilize configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration itemsMaintain the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integrationDevelop hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed on hardware and software development projectsApply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process(U) Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) Government Change Control Board (CCB)Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the required skills listed above, the ideal candidate will have had exposure to the following technologies/tools:Jira, Confluence or other similar toolsetsGit, Subversion or other similar source code repositoryMicrosoft Office or other professional level documentation suite for producing reports
