Network Engineer III

Location: Springfield VA or Chantilly, VAA senior network engineer with 10+ years of experience in networking, 5+ years of engineering MPLS and BGP, 2+ years of cloud integration, and knowledge of hybrid multi cloud, automation, scripting, and system engineering processes is desired. This includes experience with popular service provider routing and encapsulation protocols such as BGP, MPLS, GRE, and IPsec.The specific responsibilities of this role include designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise networks; troubleshooting and resolving network issues; managing and mentoring junior network engineering staff; and keeping up with the latest networking technologies and best practices.The desired skills for this role include a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and security; experience with popular networking equipment and vendors, such as Juniper and Cisco; experience integrating cloud networking platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP; experience with network automation and monitoring systems, such as Ansible, Python, rGPC and Riverbed; experience with hybrid multicloud, scripting, and system engineering processes; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; and strong communication and teamwork skills.Job Requirements for a Senior Network EngineerRequired Responsibilities:Desired Skills:
