SUMMARY

Provides system software support for all loan related software programs. Assists with conversion of the loan portfolio of acquired banks to UCB systems. Ability to lead training sessions on supported applications and processes Maintains loan products, documentation, and specifications on core, document preparation, and decisioning software systems and any other supported applications for which employee is responsible. Serves as primary resource in coordination of the testing and implementation of new releases and enhancements to all loan-related systems and ancillary programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or similarly applicable field preferredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in banking and loan-related departmentMinimum of 5 years’ experience on Fiserv Premier preferredStrong computer skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointSolid understanding of loan accounting proceduresStrong knowledge of risk and controls as applies to production systemsSolid knowledge in handling all types of loan products including, but not limited to, loan participations, SBA loans, and general ledger account balancing proceduresStrong interpersonal, communications and organizational skillsDevelop and prepare training materials and conduct employee development classesWork in a team-oriented environmentAbility to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiencesAbility to establish and maintain strong relationshipsAbility to influence others and move toward a common vision or goalFlexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situationsOrganized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tacticsProblem solving and root cause identification skillsTravel and stay overnight, when neededAttend seminars and in-house training programsContinually assess changing situations and prioritize work accordinglyParticipate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.JOB FUNCTIONS

Answer basic and advanced questions pertaining to loan systems which include the following:Balancing of loan applicationsDeferred fee and cost processingException item and non-post issuesLate charge processingParticipation payment processingPayment posting and reversal-related issuesRevolving lines of creditShadow loan accountingVariable rate settingsCredit reporting set up and system trouble shooting for banksMaintain changes to core system parameters, screens, and interfacesProvide conversion assistance on all loan application systemsDesign and produce Business Analytics “ad hoc” reports for Lines of Businesses supportedDesign and support data maintenance scripts using EnableSoft Foxtrot or other mass maintenance toolsDevelop and conduct loan training classes as needed for core, documentation, and decisioning systemsDevelop policies and procedures for Loan Application SupportDevelopment and testing of document preparation, decisioning, and core systems interfaces or middlewareMaintain loan specification changes due to system upgrades, new releases, or product changesMaintain general ledger integration with loan productsReview, test, document, and communicate all enhancements and upgrades to the core, documentation, and decisioning systemsSubject matter expert for ‘Service Desk’ for escalated questions pertaining to any loan system applicationOther duties as assignedResponsible for being the liaison for business units and technology by supporting and implementing the technical solutions and system processesManages the progress and quality of a business application and process by gathering information and providing recommendations and plans as necessaryInstall, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application softwareRequired to produce documentation such as systems requirements, designs, and plans as requestedDemonstrates commitment to meet deadlines and priorities, understanding that overtime and after-hours/weekend work may be periodically required to complete the projects and initiatives assigned to the departmentAssists with periodic testing and implementation of contingency plans to ensure availability of applications in case of system failure.Interacts with supervisors and managers to determine requirements for new and modified software and hardware and provide recommendations for the advancement of technology within the BankAttend meetings with business to learn and document system requirements and proceduresWork with the Project Management Office on any initiative that affects our loan systems, including project definition, identification of necessary team members, interaction with appropriate vendors, and completion of required documentationInsure adherence to proper change management controls and processes as well as the associated documentation for compliance and regulatory purposesThrough industry resources, stay abreast of all potential applications that could benefit the company, whether new or complimentary to existing solutions

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 10% travel.
