Level 1 Field Support Tech
Lincoln IT, leading IT infrastructure solutions and managed services provider in the New York Metropolitan area, is currently looking for a Level 1 Field Support Tech
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 to 3 years' experience with Microsoft OS, a variety of desktop applications, and expertise in supporting client hardware.
Skills & ExperienceTechnical training and/or knowledge in a variety of desktop technologiesMicrosoft technical certifications desired, but not requiredDesktop imaging and deploymentCorporate Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam SolutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with end-usersExcellent track record in customer service and supportResponsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote support for Microsoft desktop personal computersProvide helpdesk support, including analyzing and resolving end-user client issuesTroubleshoot and resolve user issues across a broad range of client technologiesInstall new software and upgrade existing softwareTroubleshoot hardware problems and replace any inoperative hardware foundUtilize manufacturer technical support lines to resolve support issuesSupport proprietary applications
