Position Summary
Serve as Cyber Security Officer (CSO) with primary responsibility for the administration of ACLC's network and planning, development, implementation of data security measures to ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 Rev 2 and DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. Advise ACLC Senior Management on all Cyber Security compliance matters.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Administer ACLC's network to include inventory, configuration and management of devices, hardware and software associated with business operationsDevelop and implement controls and other security measures to safeguard ACLC's systems and dataReview, maintain and update ACLC's Cyber Security Standard Operating Procedures based on DoD guidelines and best practices and lessons learned.Make recommendations to ACLC Senior Management regarding processes and procedures, training, software and hardware that can strengthen information securityContinuously monitor ACLC compliance with NIST 800-171 Rev 2 and CMMC requirementsTrain ACLC employees in cybersecurity best practices and policies to reduce the risk of data theftStay up to date on the newest viruses and malware being used by cybercriminals and recommend risk mitigation methodsInstall and maintain antivirus software and systemsRespond to data threats to limit data loss, regain control of the system and report incidentsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information technology, computer science or a closely related field. or Associate's degree in related field with 7 years of relevant experience.Minimum of 5 years' experience in cyber security and information assurance with at least 3 years of experience in systems administration in a Windows based environment.Extensive knowledge of computer science and information systemsExperience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifacts.Experience with DoD IT environment and networks desired.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,Analytical skills to troubleshoot cybersecurity issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations.Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearanceCertification at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements) preferred
