Position: Business Systems Analyst Level I/II
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA - 100% on-site

Job Description:
The individual will work closely with business analysts and development teams to identify configuration and support requirements. The individual will also conduct configuration and testing of one or more areas of the migration effort.
Skills required include business analysis, basic project management, meeting facilitation and scheduling, eliciting requirements, documenting business processes, and creating workflow diagrams, troubleshooting issues, defect tracking, administering, and testing applications.
Job ResponsibilitiesSystem design, planning and configurationFacilitating meetings for projects and support activitiesIdentify and summarize issues to relevant IT and business implementation teamsElicit, develop, organize, document and simplify requirementsDevelop project documentation including technical specifications and user guidesDevelop software test plansConduct quality assurance testing for software and business systemsTrain users on softwareUser assistance and business system administration/ supportJob Skills
5+ years of proven IT Business System Analyst experienceMust have excellent oral and written skills and the ability to facilitate meetings, manage agendasand communicate in a professional manner even in high stress situations.
Rapidly learn how to configure and support new software systems.Strong understanding of the System/Software Development LifecycleProven ability to elicit and document complex business system requirements and technical needsincluding the use of workflow diagrams /charting techniques and wireframe models.Experience with configuring and implementing new systems and/or enhancing existing systemsAbility to recognize risks and system process challenges and facilitate solutions to mitigate themDocument, develop and revise system design test procedures and quality standardsWell-developed analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate clearly and preciselywith end users, developers, and other IT teams, and attention to detailBasic project management principles and techniques such as organizing and managing a project,developing schedules, identifying critical paths, and breaking down a project into individual tasks
Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with customers, end users, key project stakeholders,developers and IT teams at multiple levels of the organizationOther Desirable Skills: Experience creating basic SQL statements to extract, report and analyze data
