We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Set Up Swiss to join our team at our facility in Hatfield, PA. As a CNC Machinist Set Up Swiss, you will be responsible for operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes, specifically working with machine brands such as Star and Tsugami. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment and contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality precision parts.
Responsibilities
Perform machine setups for production runs on CNC Swiss lathesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsSelect and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachmentsAdjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerancesMonitor machine operations and make necessary adjustmentsInspect finished parts using precision measuring instrumentsTroubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during productionMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to safety guidelines and company policiesQualifications
Prior experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathesProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawingsStrong knowledge of machine setups for production runsFamiliarity with machine brands such as Star and TsugamiAbility to select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachmentsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work with precisionStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issuesGood communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentYou should be proficient in:
