Job Details:We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in the fast-paced construction industry, providing critical auditing services to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:As an Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company's financial health. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.2. Evaluating systems and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, including SOX.3. Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and making recommendations for improving our organization's operations and financial performance.4. Reviewing and verifying journal entries and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.5. Collaborating with management and staff to develop best practices and processes for financial reporting and operations.6. Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and developing corrective action plans.7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes that could impact the organization.
Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in public accounting Audit or Internal Audit2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is preferred.
