Job Details
Responsibilities:Analyze and report on cost variances between actual and standard costsConduct monthly and quarterly financial statement variance analysisWork closely with plant management to develop and maintain standard cost systemsEnsure accurate and timely inventory accounting and reconciliationDevelop and maintain product cost estimatesAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesIdentify and implement cost-saving initiativesProvide guidance and support to junior cost accountantsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field2+ years of experience in cost accountingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with financial statement variance analysisKnowledge of plant accounting and inventory accountingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdvanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systemsCPA or CMA certification preferred
