Core responsibilities include providing comprehensive psychiatric medical care (assessment, consultation, treatment) to patients.Incumbent must be skilled in general outpatient psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluations, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy. Cross coverage for inpatient, inpatient consultations, and walk-in clinics is expected.He/she should be competent in the management of individuals with a broad range of clinical problems, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder, mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders, substance use disorders and psychiatric disorders over the life cycle of the Veteran population.The incumbent will serve as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary mental health team.Relocation, Educational Debt Reduction (EDRP), and recruitment signing incentives are possible for the right candidate.Participation in resident supervision with an academic appointment to the University of Washington School of Medicine is expected.Work Schedule:

8:00 am to 4:30 pm with light on-call responsibilities.Buprenorphine Certification is highly preferred to meet the duties required for this position.Annual Performance Bonus Up to $15,000
