We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our growing dermatology group.
We are a privately owned group and are looking for a radiation oncologist to work part time or full time in the state of Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation oncology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with cancer, determining the most appropriate course of radiation therapy (EBT/SRT)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, overall health, and specific cancer type
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, physician assistants and nurses, to ensure comprehensive cancer care
- Monitor patients' progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on the benefits, risks, and potential side effects of radiation therapy
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiation oncology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of radiation oncology
Requirements
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Strong clinical skills and experience in radiation oncology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
