**COVID-19 Procedures:
On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
Essential Functions:
Performs the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Unix/Linux based servers
Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to server and software issues
Provides direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal and external teams
Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required
Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
Unix or Linux web/systems administration experience required
Installation/configuration of web and application server software required
Troubleshooting of server/software issues required
CompTIA Security+ certification required. Advanced certifications CASP or CISSP also acceptable.
Desired :
Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies desired
Server administration with any of the following desired ColdFusion, Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, and/or Apache HTTP
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI.
Education :
BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
