Develop and execute health and safety plans for our operations sites in the U.S. according to company guidelines.Maintain client relationships on Health & Safety initiatives at our Operations Sites. 30% Travel.Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to policy and procedures.Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.Skills
In-depth knowledge of workers compensation law and regulations.Ability to fabricate or modify safety equipment as needed.Strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles.Certification in CPR, first aid, or other relevant emergency response training.Familiarity with workers compensation claims management processes.Proficiency in OSHA regulations and requirements.Experience conducting root cause analysis for accidents or incidents.Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) practices.Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.Understanding of EPA regulations related to hazardous materials.WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
5 years of Safety and warehouse or manufacturing experience.Great understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.WHO ARE WE?
