Job Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;

Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program;

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training required;

Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;

Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at SARMC;

Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.

Job Description:

Become part of a physician-led 500+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents, children, and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse child and adolescent outpatient patient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial, multidisciplinary team and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Support Services:

Practice includes 3 Physicians, 2 APPs and 5 Clinical Social Workers. Inpatient and case management resources located on-site. Part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care Clinics.
