Attention Pulmonary Rehab Respiratory Therapists seeking PRN work! The Danbury Hospital - Outpatient Center is looking to build its team and is looking for a RT with a minimum of Associates Degree in Respiratory Care, 3 years experience, is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a CT License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and a BLS. Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Rehabilitation - is responsible for facilitating the training of patients with pulmonary disease in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities of the program include instructing patients with how to live with chronic disease providing education and exercise.
Responsibilities:
* Provides pulmonary rehab program education and exercise classes either group or 1:1 two times per week for 6 weeks* Oversees the alumni maintenance exercise program offered 3 times per week* Provides airway clearance 1:1 sessions per physician order* Performs 6 Minute Walk Tests* Fulfills all compliance and database responsibilities related to this position* Performs other duties as assigned by Department leadership
